Peppy Fitness is Jan Helge and Ingvild Østensen. Jan Helge is a Certified Personal Trainer by the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (Norges Idrettshøyskole), where he has also completed a degree program to qualify as a Nutritional Advisor. His mission is to help people reach their fitness goals through long term relationships, whether you aim to become a top performer or need to improve your health after a serious illness. There is no fuss when you work with him, just hard work.

This is how Jan Helge describes his products:
Running: I started practising running and athletics in my youth and still very much enjoy it. This is an efficient way of exercising and building up cardiac output! My main focus is endurance.
Weight Loss: My philosophy is that you can eat everything, but not all the time. If you are looking for a «quick win», don’t bother coming to me. I believe in clever food composition, being wise on meal rhythm, quantity and combinations, all combined with an adequate level of physical activity. This will give you sustainable results!
Range of Motion: Many people tend to spend most of their day sitting down, notably in front of a computer, leading to a tense body and a poor posture. As you become older, your body ages and naturally becomes less flexible. As a result of all this, it can be difficult to obtain a natural range of motion in your everyday life. I’ll make you flexible again!
Functional Strength Training: Strength training is good for everyone! However, most people neither need nor want to look like bodybuilders. My focus is to create a strong and functional body by building core strength, balance and coordination and also to strengthen the muscles that are the weaker agonists/antagonists to make your body well aligned. Also, some occupational groups have special needs, e.g. hairdressers, painters etc. I will make you feel better and look better!
Training With an Illness or Other Special Conditions
Whether you suffer from a heart condition, obesity or diabetes, I know how you can exercise safely!
If you have skeleton muscle pains, I will improve your condition!
If you have a lung disease, there are no reasons why you should not train. Your respiration state can be improved!
Exercise during and after pregnancy is highly recommended. However, it must be done in the right way!

Ingvild Østensen has trained at Kroppsterapiskolan and is a fully certified massage therapist. She would like to invite anyone with muscle or joint pain to come for an assessment and treatment. Massage does wonders to increase wellness, but many people are unaware of how beneficial it can be as pain relief.
